The strategic alliance between Olot Meats Group<\/strong><\/em> and Bioscor<\/strong><\/em> will allow the company to be directly integrated into the production process of biofuels from pork fat.<\/p>

Bioscor is a leader in the sector of transforming organic waste into raw materials for biofuel production, with the goal of giving waste a second life. This environmental commitment shared by both companies is based on valorizing meat by-products, transforming them into essential ingredients for animal feed, biofuels, and other industrial applications, thereby promoting a more sustainable and responsible production model.<\/p>

The project focuses on producing the raw material component of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel), turning these animal by-products into a renewable, low-emission energy source. SAF is the only biofuel capable of replacing kerosene in aviation. In this way, by converting this material into sustainable fuel, the environmental impact is minimized while contributing to the circular economy, reducing the carbon footprint in the energy and agricultural sectors.<\/p>

This initiative aligns with the principles of the Kyoto Protocol, which promote the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the advancement of clean energy alternatives to fossil fuels, with the aim of combating climate change.<\/p>

The initiative is also fully aligned with the objectives of the Government of the Generalitat of Catalonia to reduce transportation CO2 emissions by more than 34% to meet the European Union\u2019s 2030 targets. Moreover, Europe is moving towards a net-zero emissions economy by 2050, where sustainability and the valorization of raw materials play a fundamental role in society.<\/p>

With this project, Bioscor<\/strong><\/em> and Olot Meats Group<\/strong><\/em> demonstrate how innovation and collaboration can drive practical environmental solutions, turning this challenge into a long-term commitment that will benefit society as a whole.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
